Some census and other data are only available at the Census Tract level. These building blocks are a poor fit for the neighborhoods or for the area boundaries. Tracts often overlap the area. Occasionally, tract level data is used to profile social neighborhoods. These are not a good fit, but represent general patterns for these neighborhoods.
