Over the past 20 years, many homes have been demolished - a loss of xx single family homes, xx duplexes and xx multi-family buildings. This involved xx units.

Some of the large lots north of North Avenue and along the railroad track were commercial/ industrial property.

Some residents have welcomed the lower housing density and many vacant lots are gardens or green space. But many vacant lots are held by the City of Milwaukee for future development.
